This was done entirely with markers?! Seriously? If so, that is amazing! The reason why is that the glowing lines would be very hard to mess up as markers tend to be very unforgiving and bleed over thin lines like that.
ah, there was the possibility that you used a scanner to copy the artwork and then printed copies... it's what I would do if I was using markers. funny thing about those, they're usually the first art supply you gain access to as a kid, but they're one of the least forgiving mediums ever. I mean CERAMICS are more forgiving than markers.
What?! For what reason? If you have good paper, especially bleedproof marker pad, like Letraset for example, there is no need for making copies. Personally, I use Transotype paper for markers. And printer paper sucks
There are no similarities between chinese markers we were all using as kids, and professional graphic markers. Maybe besides the name
they make paper for markers?!?! no wonder I can't ever get anything good out of them! I'd use a light table (or whatever they're called) to project the lineart onto a blank sheet, and trace it if I had one, but the scanner I bought on tuesday will have to do for now. I know how to make one, but I don't have enough broken lamps, desk fans, or glass tables...
I was talking more about the copying of lineart for when I mess up. I haven't used markers since I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel. it's more due to accessibility than anything actually. I don't have much money, so most of my art supplies are made from base materials, free, or refillable. I don't have the money for a refillable marker, and since I am kinda neurotic about adjusting to new tools meaning that a new set of markers would take me most of the ink to adjust to, I can't do much with markers. my best medium is ceramics, but if I can't afford a decent set of markers I can't afford that either so...
Ummm... it's pretty easy to explain. In this fandom, if a popular artist is posting a drawing of pony doing something, or wearing something, and other artists like the idea, they treat it like a meme and repeat what popular artist did. Egophiliac didn't invent the idea, but made socks popular with this drawing: [link]
We also had tennis Luna [link] juice boxes [link] ponies in wehicles [link] and recently, wet mane ponies
