Funny thing is, that's not a half bad idea. Solar power would allow the wearer to have virtually limitless power. Instead of rcs, one could use ion engines for travel. (only problem is that they need o be rather efficient.) Good work though.
Unreal. I do not know how else to say. Style sci-fi so pronounced and gorgeous, that there are no words. Awesome. Thank you!
Words of a man who has received this art as a gift: "Oh, you Well, it's crazy. O_O. Unexpectedly. And very beautiful! ... You tell the author that people like him bring to the world the beauty that is hard to describe in words sometimes. His drawing is fantastic!" (DTerriki)
Theory wise, I think a pegasus would be more fitted in a free-floating environment due to their natural adaptation to spacial orientation and visual cues in 'flight' (or float lol).
As for the function of those panels, I can't tell if their solar panels, or solar sails to propel them via radiation winds--if so, they really wouldn't have any control and be at the mercy of such winds
Probably most ideal would be variable thrust-vectoring jetpacks which are controlled based on a pegasi's wing-muscle movements for minor adjustments, as if they were stabilizing in normal flight.
Then the art--SUPER PRETTY!
Concept looks super sci-fi awesome!
Not many space-ponies I see, and this space pony is awesome! xD
