Deer, Early Concepts

Part of a bigger commission for

I got hired as a concept artist for a tabletop game set in... Equestrian surroundings, with alicorns and manticores and all that jazz, but we're trying to make it look cooler! ;D

So I will be doing the sketches, therefore I'm responsible for the creative process and design of some of the cratures and locations.

Here are some early, quick visions of deer (also compared to the regular ponies). I especially like Bambi.
