But damn, I'm really digging the maroon-colored pony in the center! The flaming sword is nice, but that full-plate bronze armor is awesome! Seriously, there needs to be more ponies on the internet wearing realistic full-plate armor. (She needs a helmet though, but that would cover up her pretty face... XD)
For generations, a rusted, dented silver crown with three missing gemstones had been passed down Chromium Red's family. For reasons that they would tell no one else, they had treasured the thing, seeing it like it's something sacred.
Chromium didn't share that view, though; the ever cynical unicorn didn't have much love for what she thought was a worthless piece of junk, so when it came to her after her grandmother died, it wasn't much of a surprise that she would dump it in the attic, content to let it corrode to dust. It's not like anyone would complain, now that she's the last of her family, and it's not like anyone would want it.
And golly, was she wrong.
Shortly after she received the crown, a letter came to her warning her of danger ahead, and that was proven true when assassins busted into her house later that night, taking away the crown and trying to end her life.
They would had succeeded, had not for a mysterious grey unicorn coming to her rescue. Calling herself Silver Mane, she refuse to explain to Chromium much other than to reveal that Chromium was, in fact, the last descendant of none other than one of the founders of Equestria, Princess Platinum, and that the crown was none other her royal ancestor's soverign property, passed down to her and serve as a vital key to unleashing a terrible power that could potentially throw the land into mortal danger, if those mysterious foes that stolen it could complete the crown by finding the three missing gemstones that once embedded onto it.
With her home destroyed, having nothing better to do, and the future of Equestria at stake, Chromium Red must now in a race against time to recover the silver crown, solve the mystery behind it and, even if she doesn't want to, step up and reclaim her heritage as the Scion of Platinum. Joining her is Silver Mane, with her own mysterious agenda, and of all ponies, Shining Armour, consort of Princess Cadence of the Crystal Empire, representing the Royal Court in the matter for reasons unknown.
What did their foes want with the crown? Just what happened to Platinum that threatened Equestria? Can Chromium Red rise up to the occasion? And just how do Silver Mane and Shining Armour fit in all this?
